Diesel ManUG Kabaka grew up in Northern Uganda, where he had both primary and secondary school. He began performing at a young age in school, impersonating himself as a Big artist. He learned to play various instruments, such as guitar, piano, drums, and harmonica, and developed his skills as a vocalist and songwriter.

At the age of 17, he moved to Kampala to pursue his dream of becoming a music star. He adopted the stage name Diesel ManUG Kabaka, inspired by the nickname his father gave him as a child. He struggled to find his place in the industry, working as a part-timer on some security jobs. He also faced some personal challenges, such as being arrested for idle and possession of Narcotics such as Marijuana in 2021.

Diesel ManUG Kabaka is a talented music artist who has shown that he can master any genre, from Dancehall to afro-pop and hip-hop. He has also shown that he can overcome any obstacle, from poverty to prejudice to pressure. He has inspired many others with his creativity and passion, and I hope he will continue to do so for many years to come.

However, he did not give up on his vision, and soon he got his breakthrough as a solo artist. He co-wrote and featured on the hit songs “DOGI DOGI” and “WARRIOR”, a cipher song featuring artists like Price Lumba, T.sac, and Gasper Marvin which both reached the top five on the Billboard charts in 2022 on different radio platforms.
