Wasafi Records: Founded in 2015 by Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz, Wasafi Records is one of the leading labels in East Africa, with a focus on bongo flava, a fusion of hip hop, R&B, dancehall, and reggae. Taurus Musik: Launched in 2012 by Kenyan entrepreneur Ikechukwu Anoke, Taurus Musik is a label that focuses on afrobeat, a genre that blends African rhythms with funk, jazz and soul. Taurus Musik has signed artists from different countries in East Africa, such as Kagwe Mungai from Kenya, Alicios from Congo, Lady Jaydee from Tanzania and Roberto from Zambia. Aijuka Records: In 2019 an environmental journalist by the name of Aijuka Andrew launched this record label, aiming and targeting Talent development, especially with the young youth from the Ghetto since the co-founder had an affiliation with Ghetto life during his life growth. the record label ventures much into Urban Music production, with different genres such as Afro beats, Afro dancehall, Hiphop, R&B, Gospel music and so many more. The record label also provides promotions for artists through different platforms.
